Storm Floris is due to hit at around 10 am on Monday 4th August 2025 and will last most of the day. It comes with an amber warning so there is a danger to life as high winds will cause damage. There will be travel disruption
We will be working with our contractors throughout the day and there will probably be service restrictions / disruptions.
There is some good advice on the Met Office web site - see link. If you have items outside your house please try and secure them before the storm kicks in . Trampolines often get damaged and blown away so try and make these safe

Quick Update - amber warning now extended to 23:00 hours. Our repairs contractor and heating contractor are trying to work normally but will priortise calls if required. There will be no working at height due to the weather. We do expect disruption so please bear with us. Our staff are working from home but you can contact us by phone and email as usual.Please take care and secure items that may blow about - trampolines can be dangerous so please make sure these are secure
