Like all of you we are following what is happening with the Scottish Government's plans on easing lockdown restrictions and were awaiting confirmation on what will happen from 26th April 2021. The First Minister has made announcement today and has confirmed there will be significant changes from Monday 26th April 2021. The really good news is that Scotland will move to Level 3 restrictions and we will all have much more freedom to do things. There is a good summary on the BBC News Web Site that gives you all the details.
For us this means that non essential works can resume in homes and our contractors are gearing up for this. So if you are getting new bathrooms and kitchens installed Everwarm our contractor will write to you with an update in the near future and should start some works from next week and our electrical contractor hopes to be back on site in May . We will be able to resume routine repairs but would ask you to note that there will be a backlog to catch up with but we are working with the McDougall Group to clear this. Our staff have been contacting those waiting on repairs to update them and will continue to do so .Gas servicing and repairs are ongoing as is work we don't have to do inside tenants' homes - like painterwork, landscape maintenance and safety surveys.
The office will remain closed meantime with staff working from home and limited onsite visits till we move through the restriction levels.
Now that the position is becoming a bit clearer we will write to all tenants and owners in the Factoring Scheme with a more detailed update as the situation develops.
We truly appreciate your patience and support during all of this and hope that the latest relaxation of restrictions pave the way to a safe return to the outside world for us all.If you need any more information just give us a call, send us an email or Facebook message.
